I am the baby of the band at the grand old age of 20 and i've been playing the bass for nearing 6 years now and am influenced by Green Day, T-rex, The Jam and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I play a varied array of basses but will mainly be seen playing my Mike Dirnt Fender Precision Bass, aptly named the Fendirnt, and a recently refirbished 1980s Squier Precision Bass. I play these through an Ashdown Mag 300 bass head and Mag 410T Cabinet (big sound, trust me). Also, I am generally seen prancing about the stage due to the Samson Airline 77 wireless system. Oh and if your guitar stands around too long, the chances are I would have taken it apart used the bits, so be aware. Martin - Lead guitar & vocals He began playing the guitar at the age of 11 and joined his first band just over 10 years ago. Influenced by a variety of artists including Dire Straits, Peter Gabriel, Eric Clapton, David Bowie and the Beatles. He plays a Customised US Fender Strat with Kinman pickups & locking heads. He runs it through a limited edition (1 of 70 made) Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Choco amplifier. His sound is produced with a range of Boss, Dan Electro and Jim Dunlop effects pedals. Mike - Keyboard, vocals He has been playing keyboards for 30 years and is a big fan of prog rock and Rick Wakeman from Yes is one his big hero’s. He has played in many local bands and enjoys jamming with session musicians for various gigs. He uses a Korg synth through a Roland amp along with a little black box of tricks that gives him over 5000 sounds ranging from woodwind, string, to big orchestral effects. He also plays the guitar, sings and can even fix a puncture on your bike if required. Pete - Drums He has been playing drums for 118 years (rounded up some what) and has drummed all over the world touring with bands and even had a recording contract in the 60’s. He uses a Pearl kit with a unique burn mark on the bass drum where a disco light fell against it at a gig. Pete is the most laid back out of the entire band and is a good calming influence when strings break or things go pear shaped. Also, in a fire crisis he is your man when you are in dire need of someone calmly saying FIRE!!
