| evil_potatoes: | an ivisable building to take place of the imax. (i miss the view as i walk in to bmth |
| coz: | i don't know really, a shop that sells new cd's for £1 and under, an ice rink would be cool, and like morningstar said a replacement shop for bongo bongo. i loved that place. |
| Crayzee_Lion: | A DECENT club like Mister Smiths....Not even Twisters get close to that place *sniffs* poor Mister Smiths. Something else I would like is Greenday's home lol so they can live here and play in Bournemouth whenever they liked! Helen's idea seems like a pretty funky idea too!!!!! |
| TwistedTessa: | A shop which only sells CD's or DVD's made by local people.. It would be cool to hear local bands and see local films (even if they might be a bit crap) and see what people in this town are actually doing other than studying or working! |
| DontHangTheDJ: | a building like poole lighthouse, artsy cinema.. gallery..bar..concert hall.. all in one. nice! |
| SimonGudge: | an Imax....oh wait that wouldn't work. |
| gsxrqueen: | Definately some decent alternative shop...there used to be loads, travelin to Southampton really sucks..& oh yeah a swimming pool & ice rink would be real cool dont u think? |
| HeleN: | A giant pink elephant statue!! |
| morningstar: | um. a decent club that plays everything i want it to. hopefully when the villa and the opera house get their makeovers they will be good. oh yeah and a place like bongo bongo. we have no alternative shops. at all. not that i can find. actually can we build a shop for me where i can sell all my stuff. i can sell all kinds of clothes, and other random stuff, and furniture, and art. it will be awesome. some day it will happen. you'll see. |
| LordTone: | Err..WOW ok... slow down, (note to self: they wont actually build what you ask for)
I would like, more than anything else in the world, a great big building made soley out of Milky Bar chocolate that normal everyday people could walk up to and lick or break a chunk off and an underpaid groundskeeper who would repair the missing chunks and cool the building with ice cubes when it was sunny. Yeah that would be sweet - also on every corner in bournmouth and poole there should be a coffeebrothel (dont look it up, i made it up) which are beautifully crafted 2 in 1 Amsterdam styley coffeeshops and brothel combinations. I think this would make bournemouth a happier place. Screw the icerinks and bowlplex's they were burned to the ground for a reason, maybe for coffeebrothels, who knows? Anyway Steve, if you could make this happen I'd be really thankfull, but try not to make the coffeebrothels too expensive - actually, who am i kidding - id pay throught the nose... Thanks LordTone "The almighty Lord, who I don't think was actually ever made a Lord" |
| Jasba: | Another place like bongo bongo man, I loved that place. Or a buddhist temple or shrine, I have no decent place to thank Lord Buddha for his teachings. |
| x_eexmia_x: | Villa. *thumbs down* There are PLENTY of clothes shops that iv recently come across..but yeah..i guess if u mean the gothic stuff...thats true...Wasnt bongo bongo one...hmm..and hello Lian i love you:P baha
STEVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE |
| marz: | A club for under 18s :) |
| Lian: | I agree with Steve! There is nowhere truely good to buy clothes here anymore! ..A permanent Ice-rink would be cool too! :D
oh oh..The Villa isn't being shut, it's re-opening on Thursday 28th Sept. The Villa is closed this saturday tho (23rd) It's being re-furbished and stuff apparently. (Copied from www.myspace.com/soundcircusclub) - all the info on there, including prices/what nights are what etc. Just for everyone's info. |
| venus_zoso: | a new club or some sort of joint that plays music and things for the alternatives cos the Villa's being shut, or a bh101 shrine XD |
| bert: | No more flats !!!!
And rebuild the bowlplex, swimming pool and ice rink. all have dissapeared over years of redevelopment leaving bournemouth one of the most boring places... i mean seriously when asked what there is to do in bmth all i can ever majorly think of is the pub or cinemas... |
| stevierar: | A decent alternative clothing shop; it'd be nice to not have to travel for miles just to buy some nice clothes! That and a swimming pool actually in the town again, with a WAVE MACHINE! |
